Sonic Generations

Not many icons in the world of games that can be embedded in the hearts of gamers and persist through several generations of consoles. Call it Samus Aran (Metroid), Mario Bros, Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid), or Pac Man. Even the non-gamers were familiar with these figures. But wait, there’s still one more name to miss: Sonic! All will remember the last name I call it? This time it’s good news for fans of this lively hedgehog: Sega celebrates the anniversary of the Sonic-20 by presenting Sonic Generations.
Perhaps many think is not fit to bring the genre classic platforming for next-gen consoles HD tech. Platforming is too small ‘for the ability of gaming rigs modern era. But if you are of the opinion therefore, wrong. Sonic Generations brings platforming to a higher level. Which is different obviously with previous titles disappointing series. Sonic is back dude !
At the beginning of the game, gamers are invited to act directly in the classic 2D platforming. Certainly the environment is already known by veteran gamers who’ve played it 20 years ago. Afterwards came a cutscene about the emergence of creatures ‘time treveler’ giant purple sky suddenly in front of Sonic. The scene switches to a future where Sonic friends who held a surprise party for Sonic’s birthday. In the midst of the feast, the creature appears again in the sky purple and Sonic suck my friends into the portals of time. Of course, the mission of gamers was predictable. Yep, this is a rescue mission.
Overall the gameplay in this game is divided into two: Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic. So, there are two Sonic the present as the main character. The classic comes as Sonic is shorter, chubby, and could not speak. While the modern Sonic has a slightly higher posture, a myriad of new capabilities, and can speak. Two versions of this Sonic will have an impact on gameplay variations are presented. For Classic 2D Sonic, gamers will find style game inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog game that was released earlier in 1991. Gamers are pretty easy task in controlling the main character. Just run, jump and do a spin dash. But as soon as any gamer running, notice the gold ring that has become a trademark in this game. Be careful when dealing with the enemy.
