Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City

Come the third series of Etrian Odyssey, which is a 3D dungeon crawler RPG. This third series presents many new things to be enjoyed by the players. One is the atmosphere or the background of this game featuring the ocean.

Gameplay is still the same as before. Players explore a labyrinth, and are required to draw a map to navigate the maze well. In a true random dungeon encounters where players will meet with musuhApabila defeated enemies, players will gain EXP (Experience Point) and “Drop Item” from the defeated enemy.

Every enemy has the characteristics and ways of fighting its own. Of course in the series contained Etrian Odyssey FOE, which is a very powerful enemy that the difficulty level only slightly below the Boss.

As usual in the last floor in each stratum will be no boss to be defeated so that players can continue the adventure to the next stratum. And just as before, there is no pre-made character (the character is instantly ready to be played), players must create their own character from different classes exist, with pluses and minuses of each. Radiant Historia

It may have chronic long since we could see and play an RPG is good, particularly from Japan. Are gamers can remember the last time tasting RPG Japanese flavor that really good? Maybe someone has replied a year, two years, until maybe ten years ago. Atlus secretly been tapping my heart once again.

Radiant Historia could be one of them, which makes a fortune or even a blessing for lovers of RPG Japan, due to be released in English in February 2011 near the end of last month. There was no word late to savor a game, which managed to inspire me to go back to enjoy gameplay that the graphical display than in a sparkling.

Especially after learning that the developer team behind it, which is a combination of intelligent thinkers who produce a series of Megami Tensei Atlus releases with some members of the team who previously worked Square Enix Radiata Stories, which makes the game is like a ‘distant relatives’ of Radiant Historia.
