Come the third series of Etrian Odyssey, which is a 3D dungeon crawler RPG. This third series presents many new things to be enjoyed by the players. One is the atmosphere or the background of this game featuring the ocean.

Gameplay is still the same as before. Players explore a labyrinth, and are required to draw a map to navigate the maze well. In a true random dungeon encounters where players will meet with musuhApabila defeated enemies, players will gain EXP (Experience Point) and “Drop Item” from the defeated enemy.

Every enemy has the characteristics and ways of fighting its own. Of course in the series contained Etrian Odyssey FOE, which is a very powerful enemy that the difficulty level only slightly below the Boss.

As usual in the last floor in each stratum will be no boss to be defeated so that players can continue the adventure to the next stratum. And just as before, there is no pre-made character (the character is instantly ready to be played), players must create their own character from different classes exist, with pluses and minuses of each.

In the party are six empty slots (three forward and three back), but can only be occupied by five characters. Unlike the previous series, the sixth in the EO3 empty slots can be filled by a member resulting from the skills possessed by a particular class. As Bunshin skill that creates clones of characters who use it.

To battle the mechanism is still much the same with the previous series, players enter a command to each party member and then see the results. The order of the path depends on the agility, the highest will be the first street to be important enough to include the correct command.

One of the new EO3 skill is the limit which is a technique that must be found before his items and then are assigned to members of the desired member. There is a skill that can be used by one person only and there are skills that must be assigned to all party members. There are a variety of skills, the skill that heals party members until the skill to attack all enemies.

In EO3 there are 12 classes in which no classes are the same as the previous series. And we have a choice of two colors, even if only for aesthetic aspect of it but maybe for some people of color selection is very important as choice of names.

Upon completion of the second stratum, we can choose a subclass, so the ability to grow our character and can cover the shortfall or reinforce existing skills. This way players can improvise in developing his party and can adapt well in all situations.

Players can pick up quests in the tavern or bistro to accept an assignment in order to gain additional EXP and certainly rare items. But unlike previous series, after completing the quest active party member will receive EXP. So is the official missions received by the top brass Armoroad.

Another new feature is the option to sail out to sea. In this mode we are sailing in charge of making maps in the ocean and find important locations which will open up new quests and items. Before sailing the player will choose what items will be taken to sail. Items that were taken as food supplies, weapons, or other special items.

One more new feature is the option to forge weapons. Weapons could be added special effects such as raising the attack, adding status effects and others .. But nothing is free, the better the weapon you want to modify, the more expensive.

This game also offers multiplayer features by taking a quest that is only found in the port alone. Nevertheless, the experience of working with friends will be a unique and exciting experience.
