Not very long ago from a visit the last time at the “Atlantis of the Sands” in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Nathan Drake’s apparently not allowed to get a break from Sony. Only within one month and Drake was raised again with another new adventure. As good as previous developments and continue to put emphasis on aspects of the story as its appeal. The difference, which dijuduli prequel game Uncharted: Golden Abyss is not coming to take back the power of the PS3 graphics are able to produce, but as a launch title from Sony’s latest handheld, PS Vita.
Golden Abyss again presents Drake with the figure of an antagonist and also introduce new characters that support aspects of the story. After exploration of nuanced arid in Drake’s Deception, the adventure that goes with taking the setting time before the events in Uncharted first ( Drake’s Fortune ) have led Drake on the exploration of historical value in the area around Latin America and the legend that is believed to be the “Golden Abyss.” In the action times This, Drake was again not just his own. He was accompanied by a new female character named Marisa Chase, in addition to the Sully is still faithful to make a comeback.
During this time the name of Uncharted has been known by the quality of graphics and stunning cinematic visuals in the innate story. Then, if it comes for the first time in the size of the handheld screen can include also the quality that had been maintained very well by all three previous titles?
Admirable, Uncharted: Golden Abyss can give an answer that does not disappoint fans of high expectations for an Uncharted. Setting aside the screen size of only a handful hands, apparently Vita specification is already qualified to meet the quality standards set out three games graphics Uncharted on the PS3. Drake and a number of adventure locations he visited this time can actually presented with a quality that gives the impression of high-def in a portable size. A good graphic texture and Drake looked detail of expression, physical, and the appearance in the in-game are also not superficial in detail for a thorough attention. Read the rest of this entry »

For fans of visual novels, the name of Fate / Stay Night and industry that is making Type-Moon would have no longer alien. Talked about the struggle for the Holy Grail, the Magi were very successful in the Japanese and foreign. Up to Fate / Stay Night has already been approached many other media such as manga, anime, and light novels. Now with Marvelous Entertainment and Image Type-Moon-Epoch effort ‘reflects back’ efforts to wrest the Holy Grail into the RPG game called Fate / Extra.
“The Fate of the world is in your hand”
You are a student Tsukumihara Academy of bored with school routines. One day you find anomalies in the form de-javu that continue to recur. Suddenly you’re thrown into the virtual world to lose your memory. Still confused by what happened, a voice says if you are a master and must memperebutkan cup behind the legends of the Holy Grail that is, who can grant any one wish for the people who get it. For that you will be assisted by a servant and you have to train him to be able to beat your opponents to get the Holy Grail and the identity of who you really.
Story Fate / Extra written by Kinoko Nasu, co-founder of Type-Moon and the story behind Fate / Stay Night. But Fate / Extra take parallel world settings making it possible for gamers that are less know Fate series (like me) to more easily follow. Themes Fate / Extra I think enough of their own. If we are used to find the theme of saving the world, then Fate / Extra more you focus on a variety of questions the morality of a man with a first person point of view. And each of the main characters having dialogue and unique background, including your servant. Managing servant, you have three choices Saber, Archer, and Caster. Each servant has its own advantages and weaknesses when fighting. But selection is not very influenced servant story, though later you’ll have several options that produce a lot of routes ending. Dissidia 012 (Duodecim) Final Fantasy game is a hybrid between a role-playing and fighting the rich. This game adds more content than the previous games that have great success. Like other FF spinoffs, Duodecim course also has its disadvantages. Learning curve that there must be studied with a focus, and for those who are patient and diligent in the study, will find excitement in it.
Duodecim is actually a prequel of FF Dissidia, which was launched on the PSP in 2009. In the world of Dissidia, there were two gods who are fighting; Cosmos, the goddess of harmony, and Chaos, the god of conflict. Both gods have gathered the fighters from different world to plunge into the classic battle between good and evil.
Apparently, this conflict is a cycle that never stops. Duodecim explain the cycle. In Duodecim, the players will find six new FF hero. They fought in the battle never-ending it while thinking of a way out.
The story that there was not as strong and does not make us late in it, but still better than most fighting games. Some characters also have an entertaining appearance and behavior. Read the rest of this entry »

Compared with titles like Final Fantasy or a Dragon Quest, called The Legend of Heroes (or in Japanese titled Eiyu Densetsu) may sound a bit strange among gamers mainstream. The reason is FALCOM Nihon released the game as the developer has always been limited to Japanese gamers only, so for those gamers who are abroad cherry are sometimes having to wait the results of fan translation to understand and can play it smoothly. But now as the publisher Xseed will bring the trilogy of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky in English.
Trails in the Sky has a 2D graphics with 3D maps that can be rotated 360 degrees. The character models are made with the size of the super-deformed and have the artwork look on the face of its own while being in dialogue with each other. Every artwork of the characters made with a neat and pretty good views through the small PSP screen.
The sound a sword, pistol, whip, or the explosion sounded pretty good. Each character also has a voice act alone when it issued a stance or after winning the battle. Unfortunately, just when the battle only we could hear the voices of the characters. In addition, you will not see any dialogue with the voice act. But this can be covered with high quality music and very nice to hear a style suitable for adventure. Read the rest of this entry »

Lord of Arcana is an action game that takes place in the world Horodyn, where we as a Slayer, with the purpose of obtaining ancient stone called “Arcana”. A story that is ‘standard’ for a game that was released by Square Enix. But the main attraction of this game is not the story, but the gameplay and features crafting as found in Monster Hunter.
Graphical display in the Lord of Arcana tend to be somewhat rude, but “not bad”. Views dungeon also impress, along with the ‘harvest point’ is just a cylinder-shaped light. Detail pretty good player and character animation looks pretty smooth, though some were less suitable. The characters we also have no facial expression. The fight was full of blood, with splashes of red on the screen.
From the aspect of sound, this game does not have much to be proud of. In addition to a pretty standard soundtrack for RPG games, sound effects also seem flat. There is no impression of a ‘run’ during battle.
The first time we start the game, we will be faced with the appearance of the character creation. Preparation to face quite a limited character, not much can be changed, and quite a bit of customization options. Of course, for armor and weapon customization is the main star of this game. There are only 5 kinds of weapons in this game: 1H Sword, Mace, 2H Sword, Axe and Spear (which behave like gunlance). Read the rest of this entry »

The Good:
Incredible visuals, both technically and artistically
Violent combat with responsive controls
Puzzles are a great change of pace
Thoughtful story with a couple of touching moments.
The Bad:
Does little to differentiate itself from other God of War games
Design issues affect both the visuals and combat.
The word “epic” gets thrown around an awful lot, but it’s rare that a portable game is worthy of such a lofty distinction. God of War: Ghost of Sparta doesn’t let the diminutive hardware it resides on get in the way of delivering the breathtaking sense of scale for which the series is known. Incredible visuals ensure the mythical locations you venture to continually amaze with their strong sense of place and varied artistic design. And sharp controls push Kratos’ unrelenting rage to the forefront so you can focus on tearing the minions who dare oppose you limb from bloody limb. Ghost of Sparta is an impressive technical achievement that is almost indistinguishable from its PlayStation 2 brothers, but that authenticity comes with a few drawbacks. The Good:
Satisfying turn-based strategy
Deep, RPG-style progression and customisation
Good value–with new multiplayer modes and a 40-hour campaign
Attractive anime art style.
The Bad:
The small maps are often recycled.
Valkyria Chronicles II squeezes the smart, turn-based strategy and deep, RPG-like customisation of its PlayStation 3 predecessor onto the PSP with great success. But for a few tweaks, the core experience is unaltered, and the familiar, hand-drawn art style has likewise been carried over. The small, often-recycled battle maps are disappointing, but the game’s few shortcomings are easy to forgive in the face of the same elegant, chesslike gameplay that made the first game great. The Good:
Fascinating story with new social links
Player-friendly tweaks increase ease of play
Addictive customization features
Great presentation with handy fast travel
High replayability.
The Bad:
Repetitive dungeon exploration
Standard battles a little routine.
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable is the third iteration of the highly popular PlayStation 2 role-playing game, Persona 3. It’s just as enjoyable but now includes a female protagonist for a fresh perspective, along with new story aspects. It’s also been successfully streamlined for greater convenience, finally allowing you to assume direct control of party members. Barring a degree of repetitiveness, P3P is a robust adventure that is especially well suited for series newcomers. Read the rest of this entry »

Occasionally fiddly controls

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, a portable addition to the celebrated stealth series, is a rich, fully fledged Metal Gear Solid game with top-notch production values and masses of content, packed onto the PSP. It complements a great-looking stealth-action campaign with a strong co-op offering and bite-sized challenge missions, framed with a neatly presented resource management system in which you establish a private army. The game’s many sideshows, ranging from tech development paths to member recruitment and a versus mode, add further value and depth to a commendably well-rounded experience.
